I should be happy about it, I guess. This time yesterday some girls I think must have been 10 years younger then me at least, in front of me in the queue were not asked for ID. And I was worrying that she might of course accuse me for using somebody elses ID, if she really thought I could be so young. Since I have been accused for that before ;this can't be you, must be your aunt/sister/mother...
    But I'm glad she didn't.
I don't think I look that young anymore. I had a haircut recently, and a friend commented with hey, now you don't look 17 anymore, more like 22/23.
It is of course hard to be taken seriously if people think you are 17.
    I suppose I should be glad ;)
But I feel often people look at me as a "freak" when I'm with my kids...especially my 14 year old, but he just thinks it's fun:)

Don't worry about it, see it as compliments! :)
    I'm 24, but people think I'm only 15 or 16 =] I love it

    Gone.

Sorry to throw water on your fire, but a lot of shop staff ask for proof of ID no matter how old you look. It is a bit silly when an obvious 80 year old gets asked, but this is their way of doing it these days so absolutely no minors get sold booze or fags. Not that this woks but that's the way they are doing it now.

If you should be happy I should be overjoyed because I have to show my ID so many times and I am 73. I think some of the check-out computers ask for some input even if it is obvious.

Sounds like you look young, so yes.
However lol, once when I was asked I said thank you for the compliment. she said oh no problem though I would of asked you anyway even if you were 80

Depends where you shop, I've been in stores where an id is required from everyone who looks like they're under 60.. that is the guideline they follow.
