I was thinking of going to Gameworks and having dinner at a place nearby, like Red Robin. Its fun, but we did that last year.

Maybe you could cook dinner for him instead of going out. That tends to say you care more than just buying his meal. Then instead of a movie take a walk together and just talk. I have never been to Seattle so I don't know what is there, but look around at what he might enjoy doing and then plan to include it into your evening. It could be going to a sporting event, roller/ice skating, a nightclub, or whatever activity you can find. If he is more the type that likes to stay home then maybe you could put on some slow music and dance, play games, or just sit together on the couch and talk to each other about your dreams and goals in life. Whatever you decide on I hope it all works out for you!

Do something you think he would like? Does he like basketball?- take him to a game. That'll be different, and it's not to expensive to go locally if it's not too late to get some tickets. If you think he'd be up to it you could sign up for an interesting class and do something adventurous like horseback riding, or go to one of those rock climbing places. Maybe something simpler would be more fitting, like cooking a meal together at home, and just spending time together. If it's not too cold, I'm going to Baltimore to tour the city with my guy- enjoy a ferry ride, and maybe catch a movie, grab dinner at the ESPNZone, and enjoy the scenery. All depends on what you think both of you will like, and make sure you stick to something that will coinside with the whole point of Valentine's day- giving you two a chance to spend some quality time together and enjoy yourselves.
