do you have manual hubs? if you don't there is a problem with the vacumm going to the hubs

You're reading I have 2000 f350 4x4, and my 4x4 wheel drive is not transfering but when i put it in low range i can feel the truck shift, but its not locking .what might be my problem.thnx!
