I am looking at my W-2 and notice that I am listed as single, but have claimed 1 exemption for head of household. I think my exemption may be a mistake, because I'm single, a student, and do not own a home. How can I change this? I

    Don't worry what is claimed on your W2.Fill out your 1040.Being a student you will likely get back all you paid in regardless of your W2 witholding status.
