Glad he came here. I believe it is custom for the new President to make Canada his first official visit. Not like Bush. He went to Mexico.

I live here, but I slept all day. Anyway, he did a great job. I haven't heard anyone denying that. Not only did he come to visit, but he also stopped and tried to buy maple leaf cookies (with Canadian money nonetheless) for his daughters. He also tried one of our specialties that he'd heard about and he made a trip to one of the markets our city is known for. What else was there? I'm sure there was more. It's great to know a President can enjoy stuff that Ottawans who love their city and tourists who come here enjoy! He's not just a President -- he's a man who has his heart in the right place.

naw - I like this new president. But I am not a groupie. I think everyone should give him a break and let him do his job. He is human not a god. He will do what he can - but will not make miracles.
