We went to bed and things started to get hot when she asked me 'what r u thinking?' I made up a phoney excuse not to do anything as i don't like having sex on the first date.. she then said she didn't believe in that either.. on the date that night she asked if I wanted to go grocery shopping with her then back to her place, so in the morning she asked me if I was up 4 it.. I went and we had lunch at a mall in which she was all over me! We went back and watched a movie, but were fairly tired and she picked up a stomach upset she asked if we could go to her room and just have a sleep. We did. We were talking and i mentioned a nephew's bday party next weekend, she said she'd be up 4 it. I left her place at 10pm and she squeezed my butt on the way out we kissed etc. The next day i sent her a message and it took a good 3hrs for her to reply. Her message read: Hey. Hope u had a good day, pls don't take this the wrong way, but i can't go to ur nephew's bday there are a few issues i need to sort out before i have a relationship with anyone. I'm sorry, u r a gorgeous guy but i hope you understand. Thankyou. x Just to note as well she was engaged 4 months ago, her previous relationship lasted a year. She's the nicest girl ever, we had stacks in common, but i don't know what happened..! I wrote her a message the next day saying that she was a freakin awesome girl that deserved heaps and letting her know she had my number if she just wanted to chill, no strings. she replied: 'thankyou very much sweetie. that is so nice to hear. u r a gorgeous guy. Xxx Ugh.. what next?

she must be thinking about it and might feel it would be akward to start meeting your family already. She might have thought it was a step too soon,,,give her some time it sounds like she is in to you..but doesnt want to hurt your feelings...

I am thinking she hasnt gotten over the ex. I wouldnt rush this, it would become a rebound relationship.
