I have two Sony Xplod 10 inch subs, 300 watt RMS a piece. Does this call for a 600 watt RMS amplifier? Does the amplifier have to be 2-channel?

at least 600 rms would best or more so that you are not operating your amp at nearly a full load all the time. no it does not have to be 2 channel you can use a monon block also the 2 channel is just easier to hook up. you also need to know the ratings of the amplifier rms at different ohm ratings and the ohms of your subs or intire circuit for mono block. exmple: my amp is rockford fosgate db1001 it 1000rms at 2 ohms and 500rms at 4 ohms
