My cat was a few months old when he was neutered. Both my cats are indoor cats because there are too many things that can harm them outdoors. They both have their claws too and have never done an damage :)

There should be no real need to get him snipped before about 4 months. He wont start getting smelly etc until after that. & you can’t let him out until after he's had his vaccinations especially cat Leukaemia.

by 6 months of age they should be casterated of spayed and for males sometimes 5 months is better as they may spry. I recommened that you keep your cats indoors. There are many things that can happen to outside cats. Plus there are many diseases such as FELV FIP FELuk and many more.

Yep, just let them go out on their own, leave the door open sometimes and see if they want to go out. Sometimes it takes a kitty a little while to work up th courage. =)
