If Congress pass an Amendment that only allowed private sector workers to vote would that greatly reduce government spending?

    Nope.

    Cause much of the government spending is done by those who have been appointed into office.

    Well first of all, the Amendment would have to make it through the state by state vetting process. Do you think a state that is thinking clearly would pass on an amendment that could possibly slow the flow of federal money to their state? Herding cats would be easier.

    I cannot imagine it would even make it out of committee.
