  • Personally, I think that if anger were a sin, I would already be dead by now! I would be burning in hell for being such an angry person... So I think there can be justified anger, maybe like vengance or justice, but if it's for some stupid reason and you take it out on others, than that might be considered a sin...

  • Well, since you are referencing sin, I must assume you are talking about the Abrahamic tradition. If anger is a sin in the Abrahamic tradition, Yahweh Himself is guilty of sin, as He is quite thoroughly documented as often angry and vengeful. From my paradigm (not Abrahamic), the answer is clear. No. There is no such thing as sin, and all emotions are equally valid, useful, and have a purpose. It is what you DO (actions) that can be harmful, not what you feel.
