You ever tried carrying a dozen ostrich eggs in your shopping cart?
I need quail's eggs. Fat chance. Let's fix this problem when the revolution comes!
We at one time had an over-abundance of duck eggs. They're just as tasty as chicken eggs.
they sell the other eggs but it wouldnt be cost effective to have your local grocery store sell other kinds of eggs because it would prove uncost effective. sure people would buy them, but compared to the people who buy the chicken eggs, there would be alot of other eggs going bad which loses money for the grocers.
maybe YOU only eat chicken ehhs, but many ppl eat many types
It is all to do with economics. Traditionally and from ancient times chickens were easier to rear. Hence the demand for chicken eggs. Trading was easier so mass production was setup....

You're reading Why is it we only eat chicken eggs? I know other types of eggs are eaten, like ostrich or quail eggs, but thats rare. For example; Why don't we see turkey eggs in with the chicken eggs at the grocery store?
