Some screwdrives have magnets to hold replacable bits in place. Magnetic probe used to pick up parts in hard to reach places. Refirgerator magnets of every shape and kind. ABC's and 123's that my kids had as toddlers...and stuck to anything they could (like the 'fridge). Tape recording and reading heads on tape players (audio and video) (These were electromagnetic heads). NMRI (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imager, used in hospitals).
