Help answer this question below.

If I worked two weeks in December 2008 and got paid January 2, 2009, would this be 2008 wages?

    No. this is 2009 wages since that is when you got the money! be sure to save the paystub as a reminder to you that you need that W2 from them and also if you don't get the W2, you can complete a subsitute for W2 and file your taxes.
