You're reading I just read about the horse Barbaro's death. What do you think about this extraordinary story?
Comments
I agree, with all the misery of people, you think that more press would be devoted to humans. Shame on those people that raced this horse for their selfish gaming profits. A few years ago it was Seattle Slew and now Barbaro, a few years from now it will be a different horse.

Well I'm not overly concerned about the way that they make profits with the horse, even though I wouldn't do it myself because even though its not in offical Lutheran doctrine its my interpretation that gambling is wrong.

on the gambeling i agree. i have to disagree w/ valparaiso he was a beautiful strong horse loved by many if your pet was fameous and he died i think u would be just a little sad dont u. my dog was just put down so i no how it feels.
by spurrider on February 15th, 2007
Yes I would think it was sad but I wouldn't compair it or put it on any pedistal next to the death of a person. I don't want the news somehow announcing that my pet died as somehow being more sad then the 17 y/o girl and her 14 y/o brother that just died in a car accident. I'm sorry but its an animal and its life is not the same value as that of a human. I'd kill 25 Barbaro's to save one person.
