Here in New Brunswick we have N.B. Day which involves a large family oriented block party on the river front of the city. And every September we have the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival which brings in musicians from all over Canada and the USA. Remember when Katrina hit? Our city paid to have musicians flown here from New Orleans, gave them clothes to wear, accommodations and food. Oh yeah, we rock!

I live in the province of Nova Scotia. The largest celebration celebrated in Canada is Canada Day. Communities all over Canada large and small celebrate Canada Day with fireworks, parades, fairs, etc. I live in a County that is comprised of 5 towns. Each town has it's own unique festivals. We have The Lobster Carnival, Homecoming festival, Festival of the Tartans, The Pictou Agriculture Exhibition, The Hector Festival, Trenton Fun Fest,The Festival of Lights at Christmas, The Santa Claus Parade, and The Riverfront Music Jubilee which draws people from around the world year after year.
