I can't answer you specifically, but all throughout history, people around the world have come to similar thoughts at the same time. An Italian inventor invented a phone very similar to the modern telephone. Too bad he was two hours too late. We know the story of who invented the telephone, right?

If the rest was confusing, I can't help you much. I was just trying to say, as the world progresses forward, creative minds, or great minds, tend to think alike. The faster the world is globalized, the faster like ideas can come to be. In ancient times, it still happened, sometimes in different parts of the world at the same time, sometimes several hundred years apart. I know this still doesn't answer your question specifically, but I am researching the answer for you through a friend.
