A hitherto unasked question with a very different view point on any topic or category should ideally be the 'topic of the day' question. I find AB staff select the questions from those posted 2-3 days earlier.

Like a random pick from a lottery . I do not think there is any reason behind the,. Which is a good thing it means there is no favouritism and can be no bad feelings about them.
