Glass is okay, but Pyrex is better. I only use Pyrex. Pyrex is a very good quality.

Do you know if they are making Pyrex that you can use on the stove top? They used to make that, in the 80's.

They should, but I can't be sure without checking. Google Pyrex. Click on the companies link. It should be at the top of that web page. That should take you to the site with all of their products.
