I shall answer my question: I am here off and on during the day or night... usually I am a night shifter but can be here during the day as well. Just by posting a request in a comment thread on any one of a COATs answer. Brief explanations will be forthcoming instantly. If there is a request for help it will reach the COAT leadership atonce and help will be forthcoming within a very short time. That is the mission of the COATs.

I have a very easy to remember email address: sm00z@yahoo.com (those are zeroes in sm00z not capital Os). People can always contact me by joining one of my comment threads under any of my answers. I am also thinking about activating my MSN Messenger where anyone can add me to their contacts as sm000z@hotmail.com (With three zeroes in sm000z). I am usually available on AB in the mornings.

When I first came to AnswerBag, I was well and truly lost. I felt pretty much alone with seemingly no way to contact anyone or ask questions of anyone (about AB stuff). Had no idea there was an Answerbag category, let alone a sub area for "New Users" as AB isn't listed in the left hand menu of category choices. Took me awhile to find it. Had no idea I "could" just "talk" with someone in a comment string. I thought it was a strict ques/ans site so socializing or changing the subject or asking for help would have been out of line. So therefore, stayed lost for awhile. So for anyone reading this? Doesn't have to be a COAT member you're wanting to contact. Could be a CL (Community Leader). Could be anyone .. any AB'er at all! No bulletin board. Can't just ask a question directed at that one person! If you want to reach someone ... here's the scoop: 1) If it's a general thing you want to know about AB or how it works or what to do .. try searching around in the ANSWERBAG category and sub-categories. Someone else may have already asked the same thing and you'll find your answer there. (If not - feel free to ask your question. Just post it in the AB category place so others find it easily and can answer you) 2) If it's a particular AB'er you want to ask your question of, then "find them" via their profiles. With that, you can either check to see if they list an e:mail addy on their profile - or more likely - see their recent questions or answers - choose one - go there - and leave a comment there for them. Say it's "off topic" of that ques/ans - then what you want to talk about. The two of you can take it from there to contintue "talking" there - move to another thread location - or take it off AB to private e:mail. Two big things to take away from this is that there's no need to ever be disconnected or not be able to ask for help when you want or need it. Take the step. Lots of people here ready, willing and able to halp.

Honestly the best way is through a comment thread. Feel free to drop me an email (in my profile) but I am slower to answer that since I check once a day vs being on AB several times a day. Depends on if your question is private or public you can reach me either way. :)

I am not a coat but a fellow AB who has sent out the call for help at one point and let me tell you it was very easy and very swift, at least when I was able to get back on any way, to make a long story short someone DR my account very badly out of anger and put me in PB box by mistake, when I got out I put call out to a COAT and my badly damage account was quickly rescued, really great bunch of folks each and every one I have had the pleasure to meet. It is my honor to have a few of them on my friends list and know that they are always there for me. But for those who need one you can just about pick any subject and find a COAT and leave a message in the comment and if they can help they will.

A comment on any of my q/a/c will elicit a prompt response.

Did I miss "How do I become a coat?"

Sorry Arisztid but I am not a coat, I thought you had to be invited to become one that is why I did not ask anyone.

I know that I always seem busy, but please, do not let that deter you from contacting me. My primary email address is in the COAT mailing list, and I check my email frequently. I try to always answer back when there is something pressing, and I know I have other personal email that has gone unanswered for the last few weeks or so. I have been in a major restructure period, and now I am going into a transition. That being said, I try to rapidly respond to questions, concerns, inquiries, and so forth. My inbox and answer bag are always open :)

Some post their email addresses in their profile, but for those who don't (like myself), just leave a comment in one of our answer threads.

The best way to reach me is to leave a comment on one of my questions/comments/answers. Also my email address is on my profile. I'm available all through the day M-F, weekends are iffy. And usually I'm up late into the wee hrs of the mornings.

where the box is at the top click on search for a member and put the name of the person that you want in there and then when it lists people that have that name click on the one that you want so that you go to their profile page. Click on on of their latest questions or answers and then you can leave a message for them.
