That would depend solely on your tastes and your finances. I have always wanted to visit the northwest section of the United States -- Washington state and Oregon. I understand the scenery is breathtaking, and I like the climate there. Another option is the New England states, especially in the fall. The leaves of autumn present a spectacular sight. If you want to venture outside the confines of the continental United States, there are many other options, including Alaska and Hawaii, or how about Jamaica or the Carribean? Some people love cruises. There are many possibilities, but there again, it depends on what you like, what kind of climate, what you like to do, and the amount of money you have available. If you're still undecided after looking at myriads of travel brochures, just flip a coin! Good luck!

I think you should see as much of the USA as you can before traveling outside the country.

Cities you should see, if only from the interstate or freeway: NYC, DC, San Francisco, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas, Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, Memphis, Phoenix, Boston, Nashville, Houston . . .

Beaches to visit: Ft. Lauderdale, Key West, and Marco Island in FL; Atlantic Beach - Morehead City, NC; Myrtle Beach, SC; and even Ocean City, MD has it's good points!

If you want to party, then nothing will beat Las Vegas, but it's gonna cost you in more ways than one!

If you're patriotic, OR NOT, then seeing Washington DC is a must, plus much of the museums are free admissions, besides a few movies or special features they might have.

I would have to agree with what is the matter with the old USA. But I have to just ass one more thing to it. What do you like to do? Think of what your answer would be to that and then simply pick out and area that you can do it in.

I'm slightly biased but England is a great country for a visit.

I'm looking into going to Morocco this summer, seems like it has a good night life and an interesting culture so I shouldn't get bored!

Hawaii, I've been told is a very nice place. I also would recommend Mazatlan, Mexico; I have been here and it was very nice and relaxing, because we stayed in a resort by the beach. We also went to a Fiesta, where they had alot of food, and dancing, and contest as well for the ones that drink. There music bands sounded very good. We got in free, because we participated in a time share meeting, which many mexicans will do there best to get you involved in. There trying to make money there, and that's one way they can do it. When you go to the time share meeting you will also get a free breakfast or lunch. They also gave us $50 in American money in their money, if that makes sense. Which I think is about 200pecos in their money. We had a blast with that. Another place would be Los Angelas, if your going to the beach, and maybe going to some of the amusement parks. The hotels in La have shuttle services that will take you to these locations. Also in La, their is a place called "Olavera st." very nice. That st. is very popular, and you can buy quite a few different thing there like: leather products, kid piggy banks, go have an icecream cone, many things. Also lastly in LA, there is a place called the "Garment District" You can get clothes here at a very reasonable price, and shoes to. For instance a Dress may cost you $100 you can get it there for $30. They have great deals. They also have a Garment District in New York. Very nice. Hope I was a little helpful.

Since the Govt has made passport mandatory to cross even into Mexico, I see more and more travel restrictions in the future. I would go out of the country now, so you get the chance. I have been to Aruba (dont suggest it), PuertoRico (loverly but poverty stricken except where the US has hotels), Cancun (PARYPARYPARTY and very mulitnational crowd- a good thing).I say go to Italy, Greece,Virgin Islands,Germany, Spain,Fiji, Thailand- anywhere outside the US while you have the oportunity.

Margarita Island or Isle de Margarita off the coast of Venezuela. That place is very nice. The beaches are great, the people are friendly, and everything is very cheap.

If you like fun in the sun and the chance of meeting some of the world's rich and famous then take a trip to Sadrinia Italy. Sardinia is an island below Corsica and off the main land of Italy. But seeing the USA is worth the time and effort for all kinds of interesting things to do as well as supporting our economy.

It depends on many "variables".The amount of money and time you want to spend for example, is it a concern ? If it is, you could go to a "traditionally cheap destinations" like Bali, Indonesia. China should not be an expensive tourist destination. I would really like to see The Great Wall of China.

If you are willing to spend a lot of money, you could go to Europe. Switzerland is a very nice country. I know that exactly, because I have been there or Southern Spain. there are a lot of beautiful beaches, a lot of things to do(Visiting museums, do sightseeing for example). You wouldn't certainly be bored.

You should definitely give Alaska a try. The airplane tickets are expensive, but one can find a good deal, or use mileage points. In Alaska, one should definitely think about renting an RV from GreatAlaskanHolidays. Razor Clamming, Horseback riding, enjoying Denali, taking glacier tours by foot or boat, catching salmon, and enjoying nature. It's a great place, and last time I went (only a couple of years ago) it wasn't that cold. In fact, some days were in the 80's!!! The natives there were burning up! It's wonderful to see the sunset, and realize it's 11 o'clock (no wonder we were tired). Bring DVD's to watch in the RV at night. It's great. There is also dog sledding and other great things, though that may be a bit expensive.
