Dude find a Pick N Pull junkyard. Its like 2 bucks to get in, wander around till you find your car, and yank the part. They'll charge you like 20 bucks.
I would just say f*ck it. If you know someone handy have them look at it. Then go to a junkyard and get a replacement.
Why take it to a dealer? You should know they are expensive. Try an independent shop and get an estimate from them for comparison.

You're reading I accidentally broke the vent in my car, and when i took it to the dealer they said it would be around $300 to fix. Is that a joke? Can I get it fixed for cheaper?
