I don't understand your 25% and his 37.5% (half of 75%) doensn't equal 100%. Where does the balance come from?
I don't know the law.
But it seems unfair to me and I am a man! I think it should be 50/50 right? He had just as much part in bringing those children into the world!

My husband is drinking himself to death . He has spent 10+ days in the hospital. Due to this.Will I be held responsable for the bills?

You're reading Anyone care to explain this law to me?: Of the childcare I've paid since our separation I am responsible for the first 25%. He is only responsible for half of the remaining 75%. Is that fair or is it in place just to piss me off?

I sure the heck dosen't feel like it right now :(
Perhaps after it sinks in and we are living in a cardboard box I won't have to worry about child care anymore.
