Question:

Just had brake pads on 2004 Suzuki XL7 replaced a week ago after they started rubbing. Was told that the rotors were fine. Two days later, they started squealing and now they are rubbing again. What could be the problem?

U went to the wrong mechanic??? In an emergency I had to use some really, really rough rotors with new pads & ended up going a week before new could be installed. No Damage was done as the pads smoothed the rotors & because of the Increased Contact Area, they actually stopped better!!! I'm thinking something else was not done correctly. John
