It use to be yahoo until I found out they were ran by a bunch of losers and I found Google was far more superior.

Google, hands down. Yahoo sucks for most everything except their messenger. They have lousy customer service and Y!A regularly suspends users that have been obviously and viciously trolled, and deletes their long-time email accounts right along with it. That company is the WORST.

- Yep. And now they bought SBC and have control over many people's main Internet accounts. I had a friend who messed with yahoo, by simply publicly criticizing their customer service, until they deleted his entire paying Internet account. What a mess. They are ugly and vengeful.

- You need to speak with the librarian at my school. He prefers Yahoo! over Google. I think he's been brainwashed or something. We just don't listen to him that much anymore because he bashes Google and praises Yahoo!:)

For common questions such as why is the sky blue, I'd suggest Google. For questions like evaluating a definite integral, Yahoo. Google delivers quick and accurate answers to most general questions. Yahoo, even though ad-riddled and slightly difficult to navigate possesses better finance, education, and other databases.

Google. I've never liked Yahoo, I used Hotbot before Google.. but Google works pretty well for me, and the inclusion of the image, maps, froogle, gmail all right there is just nice and easy to use.

I have Yahoo email addresses. Other than that I despise Yahoo (they have gone from good to bloody awful and their latest changes are simply dreadful from a design and usability point of view). Google is good for most things although they aren't perfect and the emergence of a near monopoly does concern me somewhat. It can't be denied though that Google are damned good at what they do.
