  • Your customer should always have a name at the endo of any correspondence to contact/communicate with. Many businesses use "generic names" for security and safety purposes, i.e. the letter is signed by "Viginia White" or some name made up that all the CSR's know is the generic name for their department. When a customer receives a letter "signed" as "The Custoner Service Department", that customer feels under valued. A valued customer will be loyal.
