I have applied and in most cases you do not receive grants or free money. Financial aid is one way to get people to get a student loan. This is normally the outcome of applying. You can get a student loan very easily. The only thing is that after you finish your schooling you will be required to start making payments on these loans. The price of repayment is anywhere from $50.00 per month and up. If you are not sure of what you want to do or if you even want to go to college then it is not a good idea to get a student loan. Keep in mind that these loans are not the same as a loan at a bank. If you don't pay this loan back they will take your income taxes etc. If you can not pay you can ask for a defferment or hardship which will delay payments for a while.
I used mine up. I got in some college.
