Why do people say "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy"? If someone is your worst enemy, why would you care if something bad happened to them?

    Because everybody has some worth. I simply could not build up enough hate to wish some of the nasty things that happen on any human being, any time.

    Because sometimes things go beyond petty grudges, like 9-11. I would never wish that on my worst enemy, let alone anyone else.
