  • First off, frogs lay eggs. In order to produce viable eggs, frog parents usually both need to be present at egg laying so that the unfertilized eggs secreted by the female frog get fertilized while they are receptive. If you only have a lone female frog (Assuming that you know the gender of the animal - Often very difficult to determine) then you will most likely never see eggs without taking special care of the animal to stimulate egg development and deposition.
