ok I agree the alerts are messed up.
it says 17, 100, 1000, or 500 or 275. the numbers are never correct.
what can be done?

Well, just slow down on your questions... I think the limit is 3 in 15 minutes, or so (4th and you get the warning). Ask your three, and check your feedback. Respond to those who answered, rate them, look through the home page, and ask your next three. Remember that AB is not just a site to ask questions, but to answer them, meet people, and have some fun!
