97 gmc sonoma running to rich. I have replaced plugs, wires distrib.-rotor o2 sensor cleaned mass flow sensor. whats left,service engine light soon want go off . had auto zone check it ,code said #2 not firing to rich . please help!!!

Good info, but U stopped short??? What Engine are we talking about??? Presuming a Small Block V-8, "distrib.~"??? Does this mean Dist. Cap is new, Rotor, Wires & Plugs too??? Have U "Physically" checked to see if #2 IS Firing (hold wire with Plug to ground) & see if "Arcing" occurs when engine cranks.??? If U get good Spark, check the Compression. No Compression, then unburnt fuel will give a "Rich Condition" to the computer. It could be a "Stuck or Burnt Valve" that may come back to life if it is adjusted. John

My '93 GM 5.7 engine will not start. Injectors appear to be rich while cranking, plugs wet, compression good,plugs spark when cleaned. Found hose off at fuel canister (replaced). Disconnect map sensor (still rich). Code 35 (IAC) replaced IAC valve.

My 01 chevy suburban check engine light came on. The code was P0135 so I replaced the upstream o2 sensor on the drivers side. The light is still on but it runs fine. Will the light go off or should I just erase the code?
