97 gmc sonoma running to rich. I have replaced plugs, wires distrib.-rotor o2 sensor cleaned mass flow sensor. whats left,service engine light soon want go off . had auto zone check it ,code said #2 not firing to rich . please help!!!

    Good info, but U stopped short??? What Engine are we talking about??? Presuming a Small Block V-8, "distrib.~"??? Does this mean Dist. Cap is new, Rotor, Wires & Plugs too??? Have U "Physically" checked to see if #2 IS Firing (hold wire with Plug to ground) & see if "Arcing" occurs when engine cranks.??? If U get good Spark, check the Compression. No Compression, then unburnt fuel will give a "Rich Condition" to the computer. It could be a "Stuck or Burnt Valve" that may come back to life if it is adjusted. John
