i think he and parents are trying to be real nice to casy because they don`t want beleive she did it and want her to explain.but she can`t explain no matter how much love they try to give her it will not help.she is messed up in the head. can`t acsept her own guilt.can`t acsept their love.she is broken and can`t be fixed.nobody understands because understanding might mean forgiving.to her it would.
