I would not quite agree, but I have another quote by Andy Warhol that I consider more agreeable: "Art is something that is done well, like if you cook well."

By today's standards, he is correct. I've seen piles of sticks that are claimed to be "art". I'd define art as traditional--the great artists of the past and a few who are practicing today.

It's definitely true of modern art.
