  • In the Western world, certainly not. If Indonesians don't like this law, or the way it is applied, they should vote for other parties, or build some lobbies. This is the kind of things that happen when the minorities rights are not protected.
  • No. For who is forcing the Muslims to watch? Very soon you will discover that anything non-Muslim will be banned.
  • No, because who decides what "too sexy" is? It is a subjective question.
  • like everything else in this world, cultures go through evolutions that make up their landscape of today but not tomorrow. i can clearly remember the late 60's and early 70's we were accused of dancing to sexy (not me, always two left feet). this too will pass in time, or so i hope. dancing is freedom of expression, though i never told my daughter that
  • I do not think so either. I think if you do not like the dancing, or pornography - just do not watch it. Sadly, governments think THEY know what is best for their citizens =/
  • Authorities do take it upon themselves to draw up rules on what is acceptable or not within their jurisdiction. That jurisdiction can be a club or a country. This is a universal fact that applies EVERYWHERE. If a club in the west decides your girlfriend cannot walk in topless, you have to respect that. If you "find it all romantic and lovely" that your girlfriend walks into a club topless then find a club that allows it. The first club will not stop your girlfriend walking in topless into your new club. You go down the path you've chosen, let them go the way they've chosen. You've got what you want, let them keep what they want. That's reasonable, mature, tolerant and peaceful.
