I heard about her awhile back and just dismissed her as another overnight success. Ive only started listening to her ablum recently and now i can't get enough. The vivid imagery in her songs amazes me.

yep. she's not remotely popular here but a friend played me samson about two years ago, i cried and now i know every song. anyone who can write something like braille or sailor song is muchly talented.

I am a jazz and rock lover actually. I have newly discovered Regina Spektor and from that time till now, I may say I am a Reginiac. She has a beautiful voice, she has a wonderful sense of humor, she has a superb musical talent, but most of all, she sings with passion. She like to play with her voice and she likes to challenge her voice, and also she likes to challenge the listeners' taste. She is unique and modern.I think she is the one.

I've only recently discovered Regina Spektor, but in the course of the past month or so, I've ended up acquiring her complete discography, along with a lot of live/unreleased music. I think she's brilliantly talented.
I am looking for a recording from Death Cab for cutie or Ben Gibbard called "Baby please don't go." Could be a cover.
