Will I be able to upgrade Windows XP SP1 to Windows Vista without upgrading to SP2 first?

    There should be no issue with that software wise. You could even do a win 98se to vista upgrade if your hardware was up to snuff. If you're running a Fat 16 that's where it will be a little grey I would think. I'm unsure if Vista upgrade will include the tools needed for conversion to NTFS
