My home postal code in Canada is not recognized by Yahoo when I tried to register again. We live on a new street. Canada Post assigned this postal code in November, 2008. L6R 0T2. How can I register if Yahoo does not accept a valid postal code?

There have been many world-wide complaints over the past several years regarding the postal code error message that pops up on Yahoo's "create a new account" registration form. The problem has yet to be resolved, and Yahoo seems indifferent concerning this technical glitch. Instead, bizarre answers are given on the Yahoo q & a page as to why this remains an issue, ranging from odd advice to put a period in the space required, to suggestions of needing to clear user pc history/cache and reboot it, to rude remarks that the user must not know his/her own zip and may be repeatedly mistyping it, and so forth. As a user must have a Yahoo id to contact their support center, this is a non-resolvable situation unless or until Yahoo itself deems fit to resolve it.
