Be a friend, don't ask for more, be patient, they'll either break up or get more serious. In the meanwhile you might find someone else. If they get more seroius, well, you've got a good friend, if they break up, then you've got a chance to make your move. Would you want to be with someone who cheats? Don't make a move while they are together. She'll either reject you and it could be a social, as well as emotional disaster. Or she'll accept your advances and you could find it hard to trust her down the road.

Don't find someone else in the meantime. You don't know for sure she is dating this guy unless SHE told you that. If she has feelings for you, seeing you with another girl will make you look unavailable. And unless you've seen her kissing, canoodling, blah blah with this guy or you know for a fact they have been physically involved, you advancing on her does not make her a cheater if she picks you instead of him. If she gives you attention of any sort, it means you affect her in some way, so try to feel it out and judge the rejection risk. Good luck!

Dude, wait it out. Be a great friend and just tell her how gorgeous or pretty she looks like almost every day. Do your best to make her feel like the most special girl in the entire world (without coming off as a creep who is trying to sabotage. Hopefully for you they break up in time, at that point she's vulnerable and you're all of a sudden the one who has always been there and she turns to you. You make an effort to hang out with her often and eventually try to make something happen, but don't be too quick in asking her out or else it could all backfire. I think you should be respectful of their relationship and let it go. If they break up then thats a different story, but untill then leave it would be my advice.
