  • Do you change his diet in the winter? Most skin problems are diet-related in animals and humans, might be worth checking this out
  • we have a dry-skinned ACD. We use doggie conditioner on her (I have bought it at Trader Joes and at Target) and we use a humidifier in the winter in the room she sleeps in.
  • i know this may sound stupid but it could be his diet. you can have him tested for allergies at the vet but its quite expensive, my dog as the same problem
  • my black pom has the same problem and we feed him sardines once a week and use evening primrose oil shampoo on him. make sure when you bath him all the soap is washed out. if he will take pills give him evening primrose capsuales of not put it on his food. Also a good thing to ease his skin is just pore on baby oil rub it in and leave for a day then bath him the next day.
