  • I use it in my daily life and it works. One should be careful to concentrate or think of things they want, and not things they don't want. What we think about most we get, wether it is positive or negative.
  • It's worked for me in an overall way. Since I've seen the movie, I've come to understand why a large part of my life was not up to par. I'm lucky, because I'm a mere 22 years of age and I've already learned this law... and since I have, things have been going quite well... new car (I'd been in need of a vehicle for almost two years - my ex-girlfriend shorted my last one out... lol), few bucks in the bank, and most importantly, good interesting people are popping out of nowhere for me to know... I'm having some trouble with direct manifestation. For example, I've been hearing many people manifesting a specific amount of money (like moonfish's story). I've been envisioning seeing $4000 in my account randomly. It's been about one month since I've started thinking of it and really picturing what life would be like WITH 4000 extra bones, but I've seen no sign of it yet. Doesn't mean I'll be giving up hope, as the thought of it still stimulates me from time to time. Anyway, great question.
  • I heard about this many yrs ago. Once someone asked me what kind of guy did I want to date. I said the kind of guy who drives a VW bus. Guess what, we were dating for a while before I even realized he had a VW bus. I could never afford my own home. I'd often joke that I liked THAT home but moved to a specific corner in a very nice neighborhood. I'd always say the same two street names that formed that corner. Yrs later I bought a home, and it wasn't right on that corner; it was two blks away (on a corner). I had been looking so much I hadn't even realized it until a friend said much later, you always said that's where you'd buy. What do you think?
  • Yeah... I stepped in gum yesterday and before the day was done I had attracted lint, a piece of toilet paper, gravel,a cigarette butt, and tar. What a mess !!
  • yes. recently i sat down and imagined recieving a car, and in my image it was a graduation present from my parents, and then the next day ,when previously there had been no mention of a car, my mom came to me and whispered that her and my dad were thinking of getting a car for me for my graduation... i was amazed...
  • Why is it that if the "Law of Attraction" is so flipping all-powerful, the only thing people ever get out of it are trivial materialistic concerns (a car, a job, a promotion, 1000 GBP, a house)? Why doesn't work on real issues like world peace, or loving ones fellow human as oneself, or poverty, or childhood diseases, or providing health care for everyone?
  • the law of attraction is a book that motivational speakers sell. Ask a billionaire that hasno vested interest in selling "how to" info, nor get paid for an endorsement or to help his/her buddy make money from their book. These people dont sit around writing, visualozing about billions of dollars. I bet warren buffett would tell you he doesn't use LOA. He uses knowledge and so happens to be talented at what he does. If LOA works so well then why arent the promoters billionaires just to be an example for others if not for their own self interest. hmm sounds fishy dont it. I have been a positive thinker and if I am truly honest with myself I know I should have all my hearts desire, yet, I get all the things I dont want. I guess I am attracting it even though I aint thinking about it huh. HOGWASH.
  • I didn't know anything about the laws of attraction. I wrecked my car while in college. With three kids, single parent struggling without a car, I visualized myself with a car, and I held a belief so strong about having a car, I used to even say it, state directly to folks, I didn't know how but I was going to get a car. Well, I entered this contest. Won a car! After eight months of visualizing it, saying it and most important believing it with every bus ride I had to take, with every walk I had to make, I won a car!!! All I had to pay were the taxes and they worked me on that. The car lasted me for 8 years without ever needing major repairs. It took a lot of energy, but I believed, and left no room for any doubts about it. Thought about it daily, maybe three/four times a day. So now, years later, I come across this SECRET thing, and I gotta tell ya, there is something to this. There really is. It requires effort, action, and energy. I used to attract the same types of men, could never figure that out, and began to see a pattern. Law of Attraction. Had to change my thinking. It is hard to do sometimes ........but I believe in it, and I believe it is called FAITH! Having a respect for the energy of the mind.
  • Yes, I think I have gone through an experience that may be explained in terms of the law of attractopn. This experience still puzzles me a little bit. In 1996 I met a guy whom I felt very affectionate about; his name was Jeff. He left my life three months after meeting him for the first time. I was devasted when he had to leave and when he did he did so "quitely", without telling me when he would do so. In 2007, I met another guy, whose name was Tobiah, who resembled Jeff in such a way that I could not help but looking at Tobiah and thinking "he's like Jeff". If they had ever known each other, Tobiah could not have tried better at acting like jeff. Yet, this was not acting. His body language, even specific gestures were very much Jeff-like; indeed, this guy had just as a pleasant personality as Jeff did. I could say both of them very much alike in the way they behaved, acted, etc... He too left my life abruptly just like Jeff did, and he too did not say to me when he would do so. I think I may have attracted this guy because I have the "blueprint" of the guy I want embedded in my mind. By this I mean, I had thought very much about Jeff in the years that followed. I must have felt the lack of his presence in my life for about four years; I grief I would never want to experience again. I never saw him again; my hope of ever seeing him again faded away and so too did my grief. Somehow, when you move on in life things you used to worry about who no longer you fussy about sudddenly start to go the way you wanted them to go. When I decided to break-away from this experience by finding a new lover, I happened to meet Tobiah. This process took very long because I took very long to change my prespectives and so too my ways of thinking. I stopped thinking "I want someone like Jeff to come into my life but he is not here; or he may be unique and I cannot find someone like him". When I stopped resisting, my desire to meet Jeff may have attracted a like-person into my life. In my case, this person was Tobiah. But I never believed, I would ever find someone like him again and perhaps this caused Tobiah to "vanish" just as Jeff did. Now, I am using thoughts to attract Tobiah back into my life.
  • I have proof and I'm a skeptic. I discovered the law of attraction about 4 months ago, started listening to the tape version of The Secret and watched the video, then researched Law of Attraction and began REALLY living this way. I completely took the Law of Attraction into my life and I began living EACH DAY with the full thoughts in my mind of WHAT I wanted my life to be. I began LIVING the life I desired and believed everything in my heart that I was going to draw what I wanted into my life using the Law of Attraction. Ok, so 5 months ago, BEFORE all this I was broke constantly, had many things I wanted but I always seemed to be broke even though I worked hard to get what I wanted my efforts never seemed to pay off. THEN I began living the Law of Attraction... Now, today 4 months into my new life I have a new laptop computer, I have a 42" Plasma TV, I have a NEW CAR, I have new clothes, My wife and I are in LOVE again and our relationship is doing GREAT. We recently took a vacation to a place we had always dreamed about. All of these things I wanted, I got NEARLY FOR FREE. NOT for free but NEARLY and with very little effort. They CAME INTO MY LIFE I swear purely because I Wished for them. I drew them into my life out of pure desire. I know that sounds crazy but it's true. Now I am convinced this will continue and the MORE I believe it, the stronger and faster my desires and dreams are coming true.
  • If you want proof then search youtube for Will Smith on the power of positive thinking. He uses it but he doesnt call it LOA. I have used LOA or whatever you wanna call it and it has worked. At the age of 17 ( I am 18 now) I got my own apartment in the richest neighbourhood in sweden and I had an income that I didn't even work for. I got money (and I still do) and do nohing to earn it. I simply believe that I deserve it and I believe I deserve to live life rather than to work all the time. Life is ment to be enyojed not struggled. I have a girlfriend who I love very much, I have all these expensive things that people do not have even doe they work hard. What you make your reality in your head is what you will get!! But there can't be anything in your way like: "oh I want all this money without working, but that is impossible.. How is that going to work?". When you get a thought that is against your goal, you have to erase it to succeed or it won't work. You can't get anything if you don't believe it right? What do you want? Do you believe that you can get it? I have noticed that people see money as the way to happiness... Love is happiness, but many people forget this and wants only materials as I did. I see this as a natural thing because we live in a world where images of products gets forced in our brains all the time by commecials. How many times a day do you see a commercial? Yeah... We get soo much negativity in our brains that we don't live life as it is supposed to. We believe that happiness is money and materials... I am rich and I like money but the best thing in life is to love, be loved and not to be alone! But of course that is for you to find out what makes you happy. Remember: You can do whatever you want, no matter what anyone say! You create your own life!!!!! Make your own goals and go for it instead of going with the "flow" and doing nothing! Good Luck ;)
  • Yes, I beat cancer by staying positive. I knew from the moment I was diagnosed that it was there to change my life. It was going to afford me insights that I never had before. It was going to teach me to look out for myself and bring wonderful people into my life. I felt it was there to create a great outcome. It did. I also wanted the most wonderful man in the world to be my companion. I thought of his characteristics over and over again and I have found him. At the same time I posted a photo representing "an intimateand and caring relationship" on a vision board. I am now in the most amazing relationship with the most wonderful man in the world. I also just recently landed the perfect job. I have been getting compliments on my life perspective. Just being told that my perspective is refreshing to others is such a positive feeling and means I'm touching someone's life. All of this comes from The Law of Attraction, you attract what you think!!
