Help answer this question below.

At my fast food job, i had 24 hours a week, i went from 24 to 3. i've had 3 for 3 weeks now. next week i have 0. I called and one of my managers said "she hasn't said you did anything wrong, but someone said you had another job." is that ok to do to me?

    Some states say that you can be fired for any reason at the employer's discretion, and they don't have to tell you why. It sucks, but that is the law. Do you in fact have another job? If so, then learn a lesson from this and be honest with your employer. Most don't seem to mind as long as you tell them upfront and can still work your scheduled hours. If you don't have a second job, talk to your boss and tell her that the rumor was untrue and you are able to keep your same number of hours.
