Help answer this question below.

I am swaping a 2.8 for a 4.3 w/ a manual trans I know the bellhousings are different but can I use the same trans w/ a 4.3 bellhousing? Can I also use the same slave cylinder and clutch fork?

    the s10 is equipped with a 700r4 trans. the bellhousing patterns are different. the 4.3 is same as all chev. engines. the 60degree v6 engines are stand alone. as for slave cyl. i don't see a problem.

    From experiance the 88to92 4.3 6 cyl engines are junk.They call them the 20 thousand mile dream.There the engines that came in a few different chevy models.A 350 hydro transmission works on both engines.

    don't listen to those guys they didn't understand the question. the 700r4 and the turo 350 are both automatic transmissions. you more than likely have a borg warner trans. it should work as long as the trans u have is a 3 piece case.
