Question

Help answer this question below.

My casual partner of 2.5 years had a one night stand resulting in a baby. We aren't "boyfriend and girlfriend" but we fell in love and care about each other very much. I want to be a good friend and offer needed support, but I feel hurt. Is this wrong?

Your question contradicts itself. not boyfriend and girlfriend, but you are in love with each other?

    How can this be?

I know you both love your baby.

    Need to hear more.

Your feelings aren't right or wrong, it's just how you feel. You can't control how you feel about some things. With that being said, you can't hold it against your partner if your relationship is truly a casual one. It is too bad that it happened, but if you really do love this person, you'll work through it and find a way to give them the support they need.
