Help answer this question below.
Well, you could do something else altogether. And, yes, I know that you are stirring the pot. This is not a real question. Your question here proves it:
:I just found out that I am 1/128 Black. Is this enough for me to get to go to one of those rich private colleges without having to pay like the Whites? Even though it is a relative small amount, I am beginning to feel more and more "Black".

Assuming that this was a real question, you could NOT apply for affirmative action grants, freebies, and the like... like most "minorities" do not.
I am from one of the smallest, if not the smallest, ethnic minority in the nation and, even if there were such things for us, I would CHOOSE to not use them.
Furthermore, I know to which ethnicity you refer and I have to say that I know that MOST decry such actions and make it on their own merit.
In fact, these individuals are a bit annoyed, to put it mildly, by those who do this without the greatest need... if that.
No, all of 'us minorities' do not have to prove backgrounds. Most go on their own merit instead of trading on their ethnicities. It seems it is only those that are too lazy to do so that go after what is denied to others for such specious reasons.
Definitely, being native to this country, they do receive all those things and TOOOO any people try to take advantage of it.
You definitely need to prove your ethnicity.

You're reading If I say I am part Black but look White, will I have to prove my background to get affirmative action grants, scholarships, and various freebies? Do all of us minorities have to prove our backgrounds?
