You're reading My 2000 Durango wouldnt start, bought a new battery on sunday, drove it on monday, and on tuesday the truck would'nt start again. I charged the battery for three hours, and the truck started right up. Next day it's dead again.

Take off the Negative battery terminal & put a Volt meter black lead on battery & red to loose cable. Do U get a reading??? Yes, then something is drawing power when it shouldn't be killing the battery. It could be bad "Blocking Diodes in Reg. or Alt", or something else. Start removing wires off the Pos. terminal until the meter no longer shows power loss. The problem will be in the last wire that "Broke the Circuit". John
