Well i have two skirts and one dress at knee level.
2 skirts mid thigh level.
And 1 skirt i CANNOT bend over in, very short.

...well, I'm probaly not as young as ChandaDiane or Freedom Issues...so mid-thigh was in my "salad days"...but I wear skirts about 2 inches above the knee...my legs are still attractive...

I have a jean skirt that comes to just below my butt. Hubby loves it, but I usually only wear it to the beach as a cover up. Most of my skirts and dresses are 4-6" above my knees when standing.

Skirts normally 2-8in above the knee. Dress knee length to4in above the knee.

the shortest I've ever worn was 12" from the waist to the hem (micro-mini). In the 1980's I wore min-skirts all the time, but as the years have gone by, my dresses and skirts got longer; today my hems sweep the floor and they often have trains flowing 4 or 5 inches or more on the ground behind me. I have one dress that has 7 yards of fabric on the skirt alone, it can be worn with or without hoops.

It depends on what I am wearing it for or where I am wearing it to. I only own one mini any more. The rest are top of the knee or longer, with most of them being mid-calf or ankle length.
