What's the best support pantyhose I can try for the first time? How do they feel?

    Did you ever decide to try something??

    If you are looking for just light support, then I've found that Leggs Sheer Energy are just about as good as any in that price range.

    If you want intense support, then try to find some Medi-Peds pantyhose...they are compression hosiery, but have a really nice shine to them. I'm not sure if anybody other than K-Mart carries them any more...usually, they are ~$10, but they definitely look great and last longer than 10 pairs of the el-cheapo $1 100% nylon pantyhose

    I don't understand why any hosiery manufacturer still makes the cheap 100% nylon ones...they are the reason why many have grown to hate wearing hosiery...
