Is it legal to drive a pickup truck with no truck bed attached as long as all of the lights are properly functioning? We removed the bed which was wrecked and we need to drive it to the body shop

    The law only requires two headlights in the front of the vehicle and two red tailights, in the rear of the vehicle.

    If you are only going to have the trucks bed repaired, this should cause you no problem with the police.

    Just be sure your license plate is legally attached and go no where except the body shop.
