If you quit a job in December of 2007 but received your last paycheck in 2008, should that be on your 2007 W-2 or should i receive a 2008 W-2?

when did you GET the money? 2008? then it's 2008 money! and be sure to keep that paystub as a reminder that you will need a w2 next year this time from them. AND if you dont' get it, you can do a substitute W2 as long as you have that paystub!

If your hours were entered in 2007, it would be in your 2007 W-2, even if you receive your check in 2008.
