• I suppose she could. But a man is less likley to be harrassed or raped or what have you by other men.

• I disagree with you on the second part because I think women can ask out men. In the first part if she goes with a group she should be alright but yes I would never recommend she go alone. I also should point out something though, if a guy is truely lonely he is probably lacking on confidence and when you lack that its nearly impossible to pick up women. Now women sometimes have quite a few other problems from lack of confidence but I don't think that getting a date is one of them.

• Until they are equal pay - you expect more out of them then you do yourself.
  
  I personnaly am stonger and am not expected to clean house etc (even though I do).
  
  Why should I expect more out of them. Ridding lonliness is easier for me, then it is for a women. The expectations are different.
  
  It really is easier for men. If you don't even have the courage to act like a man - hell how do you expect a women to act like a man.

• Yes I attend services. But you have to understand that the selection of single women is limited to the women who are over 60 and widows and the "women" who are 17 and under. Also even if you belive its acceptable for a 24 y/o to date a 17 y/o I'm a sunday school teacher and the church would not think thats so acceptable.

• Apparently not to my church. Part of its where I live, (small town, have gone to big cities.) And part of it is that single 20 somethings in general is the most underreprestented age group at any church.

• Red> None of them. The girl in question has been married for over 2 years with no problems and thats the big line where the odds start improving the longer you stay together. Also understand this, in religious families we consider divorce to be just as bad if not worse. So they will work it out. I'm fully confident that their marriages will last until death. I will also point out that she wasn't the average, most of them waited til they where about 23.

• I guess. I was talking about at my church it seemed that all the girls were either takebn or married. They seemed to marry after a really short time of meeting and stuff. I think they do this because there horny and they just can't wait sometimes, I would understand this if my assumption is true.

• I have a hard time believing its that hard to find a woman. What about the singles classes? at about dating younger- I mean women are supposed to mature earlier, so yunger woman often marry older men. Both my sisters did- Like 10 years older than themselves.I am not suggetsing you cruise higschool parking lots, but 22, 23,24 yr olds. Where are they? Go find one.

• kdawg> I'm 24 so dating a in that range would be closer to my age then being significantly younger then me. Red> I think thats probably a reason why people usually get married earlier if they are religious. Like if I was a guy and I had a girlfriend and she lived with me and I slept with her then I wouldn't see much of an incentive to get married until we wanted to have kids. But amoung the very religious you are celibate til marriage and you can't live together so both financially and physically there is a lot of encouragement to get married. And also a lot of discouragement to get divorced. I personally think as much as I would still care about them and do everything I could to help them, I think most of my friends would be embarrassed as hell to admit to me or their parents or their other friends that they where getting a divorce. When divorce isn't an option you are forced to work it out. The woman I team teach with seperated from her husband for a year but worked it out.

• kdawg> To add on its just been really tough. The area I live with is a fairly small town and is quite rural. In this area once you graduate from high school most people tend to do one of two things. A: Marry their high school sweetheart and just live here. or B: They move away. Economy here sucks, my job isn't that good as it is. And I'm not lying to you when I tell you that I only know one woman that may be my age that isn't married and she is such an aquantence that I don't even know her age or if she has a boyfriend. (I just know she isn't wearing a left hand ring). . . Ok so we've done full 5 point contact tango together but hell I done that with women I don't even like :-)

• It seems like all the dating websites and classes hunger for $$$ more then acually helping people. I have stopped using any of those sites because either they become porn sites and ask for you Credit Card or they are just rip-offs. I have a girlfreind now, biut if I didn't, I guess I would have to trust on myself to ask a women out. (I'm pretty shy!LOL)
