What is the MLB record for consecutive hits in the playoffs by a player?

    The record for consecutive games with a hit (ie. hitting streak) is held jointly by Hank Bauer, Derek Jeter and Manny Ramirez at 17 games. Is that what you meant, or did you mean hits in consecutive at bats? If this is what you mean, the MLB site lists Bill Hatcher of Cincinatti as holding the record with 7 consecutive hits in the 1990 World Series. This may only cover the World Series though, not the whole postseason...
